If you’ve read my previous post, you already know that I am in love with my new Madewell white jeans. In addition to them having just the right amount of stretch, there’s something about the contrast of the crisp white against bright colors that I can’t resist. If it were acceptable, I would choose white jeans over regular blue jeans every day.
I picked up this blue front tie top at Bloomingdales the other week and couldn’t wait to wear it. I forgot to take photos of the details in the back, but there are three buttons for closure that are just darling. You can see what I’m talking about right here. Best part about the top: no dry cleaning necessary! It’s a lightweight cotton that’s perfect for summer and easy to maintain. Yes, please! And if blue isn’t your color, don’t worry because the front tie top also comes in white.
After for what felt like a few weekends of non-stop rain, the skies finally held up for the first sunny day in a while. It was the perfect effortlessly chic outfit I was looking for on a Sunday morning as we strolled around Sutton Place. Granted it was a little cool, but I was just so happy to be soaking in some rays.
We kept our Sunday morning pretty casual and walked around admiring all of the beautiful townhouses, thinking one day… We also stumbled upon some really cute parks along the river where you can take in some great views of Roosevelt Island or the Queensboro Bridge… or you could just people watch, too. Whatever floats your boat!
After a few hours of wandering, we headed back to the apartment to throw together some fajitias for lunch and carried along with our lazy Sunday. Have you had a low key weekend you enjoyed recently?
Thanks so much for reading! XO
